How to setup campaign closing window settings
Last updated: November 4, 2025
Setup Campaign Closing Window
The closing window determines how long Popp AI will wait for a candidate response before automatically leaving the conversation. Here's how to configure this setting:
Navigate to the campaign creation flow in your Popp dashboard
Complete the campaign setup steps until you reach the final setup page
On the last page where you select the opening message template, look for the closing window configuration option
Set your preferred closing window duration (recommended: 1 week for optimal candidate engagement)
Configure your closing messages as needed
Complete the campaign setup
Important: If a candidate doesn't respond within the specified closing window after Popp's last message, the AI will automatically leave the conversation. The default setting is 1 week, which provides adequate time for candidate responses while accounting for weekends and holidays.
Usage
Once configured, the closing window works automatically:
Popp AI will typically send nudge messages to candidates after 24 hours of no response
Nudges are paused over weekends to respect candidate availability
If the closing window expires before a candidate responds, Popp will stop the conversation
You can manually take over conversations at any time if needed
For existing campaigns that need closing window adjustments, contact the Popp support team who can modify the settings on your behalf.
