Adding Conversation Rules

Last updated: July 28, 2025

Feature Overview

Conversation rules allow you to automate candidate status updates based on campaign conversation outcomes, creating a seamless workflow from analysis through campaign engagement to ATS integration. When you have campaigns attached to your analysis, you can set up rules that evaluate knockout question responses, preferred answer usage, and campaign scores to automatically update candidate statuses. This automation eliminates the need to manually switch between Popp and your ATS, ensuring candidates progress through your hiring pipeline based on their conversation performance.

Available Actions

This feature enables you to perform the following actions:

  1. Create conversation-based rules - Set up automated status changes based on campaign outcomes

  2. Evaluate knockout question performance - Use knockout question satisfaction as rule criteria

  3. Assess preferred answer scoring - Incorporate campaign scores into rule logic

  4. Automate ATS status updates - Sync Popp status changes with your ATS automatically

  5. Combine analysis and conversation data - Create comprehensive evaluation workflows

  6. Streamline hiring workflows - Reduce manual intervention in candidate progression
